Liam co-founded lrabuild with a simple intention: to close the gap that often appears between a wonderful design and the reality of how it is built. As an architect, Liam had seen too many projects where the detail, the light, the proportions - even the joy - were compromised during construction.

It was clear that by uniting design and construction, we could protect the vision of a project all the way through to completion. By removing the adversarial split between architect and builder - a divide that too often costs clients both money and quality - we replace conflict with collaboration, accountability and trust.

Liam also believes that architects are at their very best when they understand every detail. By engaging with the building process in a visceral way, we have become better designers. This experience feeds directly into the homes and projects we deliver.
